A friendly reminder that you must follow the PNWRCC hiring rules to be eligible for the Out Of Work list and / or to be dispatched

[Journeyman and Apprentices seeking placement on the Out Of Work list (OWL) must sign up with a Local Union hall within the dispatch area covered by the list by filling out, dating and signing a questionnaire about his or her skills and listing all areas of the jurisdiction in which he/she is willing to accept dispatch. Some OWLs cover multi local union areas of jurisdiction while others cover just the jurisdiction of one local union A worker cannot sign an Out of Work List if they are employed under an agreement for which that list dispatches. ]

[A current (signed and dated within past 12 months) questionnaire on file will qualify a worker to sign up on OWL by telephone. Workers are responsible for keeping their questionnaire information current, updated and signed within the past 12 months.]

[Workers must check in with hiring once a month or be removed from the list. Check in may be done by telephone, (208-336-9243) mail, fax (208-343-6549)or in person with the hiring hall.]

[Any journeyman regardless of membership or past membership shall be put on the list in order of sign-in, but where required by contract. workers will not be eligible for dispatch until their journeyman status has been documented]

[No apprentice will be put on the OWL unless they are registered with their State Apprenticeship Division or applicable Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training]
